The Plan

After ingesting gallons of frozen yogurt after church and just recently some diet coke I feel like I have the umph needed to transform Rhetts room from plastic toy central to an acceptable, peaceful guest room for Koko and Auntie Itsuko. Rhett has been reminding us all day today of the plan to countdown to their arrival. So here is my plan:

Hopefully make everything look clean and pretty around here
Pick them up from the airport
stay up late every night talking and sharing stories
Eating out
SHOPPING
enjoying some extra helping hands
watch my kids love, love, love their Hawaii family

Here is Rhett's plan:

play with the stamps Kara gave him which has just bumped the Yogurt Mill up to one of his top five favorite places to be
take a nap with Dad
clean up which means take a wet paper towel and wipe down everything in the house and the back yard
pick them up from the airport
stay up late every night and sleep in our bed
have someone to play with every morning as soon as he wakes up
pick lemons and tangerines outside and make fresh juice
go to the library to get some new books and movies for our short road trip
go to DISNEYLAND and visit the homes of his favorite animated friends
go to Knotts and meet Snoopy for the first time
do a little shopping
have someone to sit next to in the car and listen to his stories ALL the time
introduce them to Nemo Dory
