Night Picnic

Friday's are kind of random dinner nights because Rod is always working. We usually stay home and have kid food like pizza or mac-n-cheese. Sometimes we go out to eat and try to attend at least part of our Friday evening church service. Today Rhett and I decided we would have a picnic dinner at the park. After deciding we would do this Rhett got out his zoo pal plates, cups and straws. I told him it could be an animal themed picnic so he even picked out some toy animals to place at each setting. Early in the evening when dinner time was approaching we packed up all our food and animal decorations and set out in the car. However one small detail we didn't plan on was how dark it gets at 6 pm. We were literally driving around Rancho San Diego trying to find a park that might be lit. We couldn't find one. If you know of one please let me know. The only public place we could find with a picnic table and lights was the county library. At least we had friends with us to join in on the fun.
