The Favor of God

Our teaching pastor spoke about God's favor yesterday. One of the things that comes to mind when I think about God's favor in my life-tile.


Last week a few godly men from our church decided to give of their time and resources to help us have a new shower. It started out by asking one of them for advice on how to fix our shower door and after seeing our shower he was concerned for our health due to the possible mold build up. So instead of just helping us put a door back on track we ended up with a new door, a new shower and my favorite part new tile. Beautiful new tile in our shower/toilet area and they even pulled up some carpet and put tile in front of the sink area in our bedroom. It may sound silly but in both of the homes we've owned so far we have never had REAL tile so I have to say I take great pleasure in these square pieces of beauty held together with real grout and whatever other substance they use to hold it in place. Of coarse what's even more beautiful are the hearts of the men who gave of themselves so we could have this lovely REAL tile floor.
