I ran! I ran! I ran! I knew it was only a matter of time before I shared my exercise routine on my blog. A few weeks back I started walking on my treadmill following a workout I read in a fitness magazine. Basically it was combining walking and running but mostly walking throwing in some lunges for good measure. The longest period of time I've been running is three minutes and before anyone gets too impressed by that let me first share I started at one minute and slowly worked my way up. I know, I'm practically a running machine.
Anyways tonight for some reason I was feeling extra energetic and get this I ran for 12 minutes straight. That may not sound like much but don't forget yesterday I was running for three minutes and today I jumped to 12. The best part of it was jumping from burning 185 calories after 20 minutes to 215 calories after 20 minutes. I'm so proud of myself I think I'm going to treat myself to a doughnut.

You are a runner. Twelve minutes is a long time good job. Before we know it I am going to start seeing you running with Ing down the street. Be proud

That gives me hope. I had to get off the treadmill after a minute at our gym. I acted like I got a phone call.
