As I look outside on this beautiful day and look over this busy week ahead I'm excited. This week my to do list is chalk full. I have much to do to prepare for the Easter services this weekend in Noah's Club and plan and execute a birthday party for my soon to be 2 year old and one of her soon to be 4 year old buddies all in ONE weekend....YIKES. Normally I tend to get overwhelmed under these circumstances but something feels different today. Of coarse I still have lots of house cleaning to do and fussy children to love but rather than feel burdened by the pressure I have an anticipation for great things that God is going to do.
Maybe it's spring in the air. Maybe it's the spring break fun feeling floating around. Probably a little of both but mostly one thing is penetrating my mind. NEW LIFE. Six days from now my family will celebrate Easter. We will celebrate Jesus and his power over death. He came so that we may have life. I'm truly excited about living LIFE this week.
