Celebrate Good Times
My mom's birthday is June 16 and Rhett's birthday is June 17 which also happened to fall on Father's day this year. Yikes we had mucho celebrating to do. My poor mom always seems to get the shaft putting off her birthday plans so we can celebrate Rhett. On Saturday (my moms birthday) Rhett had a "boys only" movie party. No girls were allowed including moms. They watched Peter Pan and consumed so much cake and candy I'm sure all of the moms were less than thrilled with me when their boys came home later. The next day rather than celebrate my moms birthday we celebrated Fathers Day and Rhetts family birthday at MacaroniGrill This is a great restaurant that we go to in Chicago and Rod was so happy they opened one up in the Otay Ranch shopping center. We finally got around to celebrating my mom a week later this past Sunday night at Peohe's. It was so nice to sit outside and watch the San Diego skyline and have the beach right there for the kids to play on.

I love the pic of Emmie by the water. Garrett had so much fun at Rhett's B-Day Party! I didn't mind that he came home all sugared up!
