My Last Official Merry Christmas

It's 10:30 pm and I'm waiting for Rod to come back from laying down with Rhett to watch a Christmas Story with me. Rod and Rhett already watched Charlie Brown Christmas and Frosty or maybe Rudolf I'm not sure. We just finished watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. I feel like we are trying to cram every possible Christmas movie in before midnight when Christmas is officially over. Either that or we need to get our Christmas movie fix in so we can spend all day tomorrow watching real quality tv as our only plans are to eat, stay in pj's and watch the Gilmore Girls. I don't think the kids will mind since they have a dozen or so new toys to occupy them. Rhett received the Playmobil pirate ship he wanted along with other playmobil toys from Ande and the Denisons. He also received a jungle animal fort, animal planet polar something or other, Micky Mouse dance revolution, and probably his favorite gift so far a digital camera from Nana and Mike. I think he's taken about 162 pictures so far including every nook and cranny of Mike's house and each item of food on the dinner table tonight. Emmie is snug in her bed wearing thermal pj's with her new Disney nightgown over them from Koko. She was so happy with the first present she opened, a stroller for her dolls that I almost considered saving her other gifts for next year. No, no I'm not that mean. It didn't take her long to figure out the whole present thing and was soon running over with glee whenever I called her over to open another. Her room is currently smothered in Cabbage Patch Dolls and Disney Princess dress up clothes and shoes. I seriously think that little girl is dreaming about sugar plum fairies right at this very minute, or at least sugar something or other. Which speaking of I think it's time for me to help myself to my 50th piece of cake/cookie/chocolate.

One last time.....Merry Christmas!!
